AMDT Holdings announced launch and initial procedures using the SixFix™ Circular Fixation System.
SixFix can address applications in foot and ankle trauma, and deformity correction in adult and pediatric patients. The six struts of the device are pre-assembled in one compact unit. The assembly unfolds to connect to the rings and provides a range of lengths with a single strut design. The strut assembly design extends to 300mm, offering an alternative that simplifies inventory and saves time. The device can be sterile packaged for ease of storage and portability.
SixFix is complemented by optional software to enable deformity analysis and correction, reducing surgeon input to known values such as ring size and strut length. The software is also able to correct for non-orthogonal radiographs, perspective distortion and variations in radiograph focal point.
