SIG Medical expands Zimmer Biomet’s thoracic and surgery assisting technology portfolio. AdvantageRib includes a novel device, instrument set and technique and is the only FDA cleared minimally invasive rib fixation system on the market. Zimmer Biomet will market the device under the RibFix™ Advantage name.
Additional products in Zimmer Biomet’s thoracic and surgery assisting technology portfolio include the WalterLorenz Surgical Assist Arm, a bionic, electromechanical arm impacting surgical retraction and instrument positioning; RibFix Blu, SternaLock Blu, SternaLock 360 and the Pectus Bar.
