InterMed Resources entered into an agreement to distribute Z-Medical’s MIS Z-Pedicle Screw to HealthTrust’s ~1,600 acute care facilities in the U.S.
The MIS Z-Pedicle Screw system includes pre-sterilized implants, one instrument set and a screw design that addresses most common pathologies in degenerative, trauma/tumor and deformity applications.
The pedicle screw system received FDA 510(k) clearance in 1Q15, and later that year, Z-Medical established a U.S. subsidiary and partnered with WebOps to support U.S. launch of the product.
