Study Results: Use of CT Imaging in Post-op Assessment of Spine Surgery

Studies found that prevalence of the use of computed tomography imaging following complex spine surgery grew more than two-fold from 6 months to 5 years, with patients averaging 2 scans during the period. Each scan has been estimated to deliver equivalent radiation of 400 to 550 chest x-rays to the patient.
