Year-to-date, certain product lines within Centric Medical’s foot/ankle and orthobiologic portfolios have posted triple-digit growth over full-year 2016 revenue.
Within foot/ankle, the company’s TARSA-LINK™ Stand-Alone Wedge Fixation and ROGUE™ Hammertoe Correction systems have grown +112% in the past eight months vs. full-year, while OSTEO-LINK®100% Demineralized Bone Matrix and the MARROW CELLUTION™ Bone Marrow Harvesting System have yielded +105% growth within the orthobiologics division for the same time period. While we don’t know the levels of revenue generated by these products, it’s clear that they are being adopted by the market.
The TARSA-LINK wedge and ROGUE hammertoe systems were launched in early 2Q16 and 2Q17, respectively.
The OSTEO-LINK line now includes an inductive carrier bone matrix that can be hydrated with saline, blood, bone marrow aspirate (BMA) or platelet-rich plasma, and MARROW CELLUTION can now capture BMA, which may not require centrifugation prior to application.
