Smith & Nephew Reports 4Q15 and 2015 Revenue

Smith & Nephew (SNN) reported 4Q15 orthopaedic revenue of US $922MM, +0.8% vs. 4Q14 as reported. For 2015, orthopaedic revenue of $3,368MM grew +2.1% vs. 2014 as reported.

For 2015, SNN's segment revenue was:

  • Hips $604MM, -8% / flat CC
  • Knees $883MM, +1% / +5% CC
  • Sports Medicine Joint Repair $606MM, +5% / +7% CC
  • Arthroscopic Enabling Technologies $573MM, +6% / flat CC
  • Trauma & Extremities $497MM, +2% / +2% CC
  • Other Surgical $205MM, +39% / +10% CC

 

Within 4Q15, SNN settled the majority of U.S. metal-on-metal hip claims without admitting liability.
