About OPN

Orthopaedic Product News (OPN) is a bi-monthly, surgeon read publication. It is delivered to every orthopaedic surgery practice in the U.S. in January, March, May, July, September and November.

The magazine's groundbreaking editorial policy focuses upon business issues faced by surgeons. The magazine also includes new orthopaedic products and innovations and special features on current topics of interest. OPN provides a medium for discussion of contemporary issues affecting surgeons and the future of the specialty through recurring features such as “Surgeon as Entrepreneur” and “Fiscal Fitness.” OPN continually seeks guidance from its surgeon readership to provide information of true, practical value in its aim to make the publication the single most valuable tool in the surgeons’ quest for continued success. As of June 2007, seventy-five percent of surgeons who receive OPN read it.

Product News – $500 Any new, improved or re-launched orthopaedic-specific product is considered for publication. A nominal fee of $500 is made per photograph/image (lower fee for advertisers). To participate, simply send a 200 word product description, focusing upon the features and benefits of the product and free from any marketing hype, along with the company name, web address and phone as you would like them published. A high resolution image of the product (300 dpi minimum) should accompany the description.

Product Features – $500 Reinforce the benefits of established products within a particular market segment. Fees and submission requirements are identical to Product News.
