Can I get a 'Personal Membership' in my company's name?
Answer: No. An invitation
to Personal Membership in The Institute for Orthopaedics™ is extended
to an individual who desires to invest in his or her personal professional
development. All benefits, services, and publications are made available
for the exclusive and personal use of the Member and are not to be shared
with any other individual or entity.
Can I give my access codes to another individual?
Answer: No. In order to provide
the most convenience for our Membership, we utilize a simple username/password
protocol to allow access to our Members Area. As each of you has made a personal
investment, we will protect the exclusive and privileged nature of your Personal
Membership, and we ask that you do likewise by not sharing your username/password
with others. If you know or suspect that someone else is using your access codes,
please let us know and we will issue new codes.
Can I put the 'Members Area' on my company's Intranet?
Answer: Not without permission.
We do not authorize the use of the Members Area or any of its content on any
Intranet, Extranet or in any other manner or on any other platform. Any individual
or entity permitting such use is in violation of copyright law.
Can we have a 'Company-wide Membership'?
Answer:
No. However, we offer a Corporate Membership service for
a company that desires to obtain multiple Personal Memberships
for its employees and/or its independent staff [either corporate
or field personnel]. A minimum of five Personal Memberships
is required to participate. For more information, contact
Ramonde Smith at 440-543-2101 or via e-mail.
Can I change my username or password?
Answer: Yes. If you prefer
to select your own codes, contact Julie Vetalice at 440-543-2101 or via e-mail.
